A long, long time ago Moko, (ghekko) was at teh waterside drinking when Mango, (shark) swam up to him and chatted. Mango said to Moko, you should go across to the other side of this estuary the water is much sweeter! in fact hop onto my back and I will take you.
When they were nearly half way across, moko suddenly realised that this was a trick and Mango had surely befriended Moko and he would be eaten. Moko started to scream stop-stop we have to go back I forgot my heart- we must go back. He was so adament that the shark quickly returned him.
Moko leapt off Mango and ran up the coconut tree where he stayed till this day. Moko’s live high up on ceilings out of reach because it will never trust anyone anymore
